Makes four servings: |
Cut the bacon into strips. Peel the onion, cut in half and then in strips as well. Fry the onion in the olive oil, add and fry the bacon. Add the diced tomatoes and the bay leaf, salt, pepper and hot peppers. Cook for several minutes. Add the minced garlic. Wash and mince parsley and add at the very end. Cook the noodles in lots of salt water, stir in sauce and serve with the basil and dried tomato slices. Tip: You may also use basil and oregano for the sauce. The following kinds of pasta are recommended for the sauce: macaroni, orecchiette, bucatini, etc. Wine: South Tyrolean Lagrein rosé |
