The ritual

The ritual in the humid area lasts about 60 till 90 minutes.

1 Soguklu

(temperature 42° C, humidity 60%) Herbal steam area | 10 – 15 Min.
Here you gradually get accustomed to the elevated temperature and humidity of the air. The herbal steam opens the pores of the skin.

2 Kese-Lif

Body peeling area > 5 – 10 min
A layer of olive oil soap is rubbed on with the Kese (peeling glove).  Afterward, the body is vigorously scrubbed from the bottom with an upward movement using a wet Kese.  The suds of the  soap are rinsed thoroughly with the Tas (cup) and hot water of the Kurna (glass tub).

3 Sicaklik

(Water temperature 36° C) Gold bath | 15 – 20 min.
Immerse yourself and bring circulation back to normal levels.

4 Relaxing bench

Hot stone bench | 15 – 20 min.
Here you can rest after each cycle of purification.

5 Bingül

(temperature 45° C, humidity 100%) Hot herbal steam area | 10 – 15 min.
The hot steam purifies and removes toxins from the body.  The skin is perfectly prepared  for the next purification ritual.  You can continue with a visit to the Camekan or let yourself be tempted by a massage.
