When you go in the mountains, it's always a good idea to bring a protective layer with you in case of rain. However, with around three hundred days of sunshine a year, there's a good chance it will stay at the bottom of your backpack.

There will be plenty of sunshine during the morning. Through the day, cumulus clouds will become more developed and a few scattered showers or thunderstorms are expected across South Tyrol during the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures rising to a summery 24°C in the Upper Isarco Valley and up to 29°C around Bolzano.
A temporary ridge of high pressure will affect the Alpine region on Sunday, although the airmass will remain slightly unstable.

Unsettled at times, improving from Thursday
Monday will remain fairly pleasant with a few thundery showers developing during the afternoon.
Cloud amounts will increase on Tuesday, with showers and thunderstorms becoming more frequent later in the day.
Wednesday will be largely cloudy with unsettled conditions and scattered showers. Weather conditions will gradually ease during the evening.
Thursday will bring plenty of sunshine, while northerly Föhn winds are expected in the valleys along the main Alpine ridge.
